Craig Clunas published a new book entitled The Echo Chamber (bilingual edition) with the OCAT Institute in 2024. The book focuses on Chinese art in the first 30 years of the 20th century in China. It addresses the modern/traditional and Western/Eastern dichotomy and places the development of Chinese within a larger framework, which helps readers to understand the flowing and connectedness of Chinese art in a more complex way.
